GDP System Slowness (Morning of 10/11/12)

Dear Instructor,

We would like to inform you that the GDP team has corrected an issue that occurred this morning, Thursday, October 11th.

GDP started to get progressively slower starting at 8:30AM Eastern with full restoration of access at 10AM Eastern. The Instructor side was up and mostly responsive the whole time. Students would have had a difficult time logging into the system for at least the last 30 minutes of this time. We have added additional monitoring and notification to alert us of any potential slowdown to ensure our ability to correct any issue as quickly as possible.

While GDP boasts a 99.98% in up-time this year, we occasionally encounter unforeseen issues.  The GDP system is functioning normally again, and our team will continue to closely monitor the system to ensure its performance.
